WORLD FOOD SAFETY DAY: SCIENCE DRIVES BOLD DECISIONS

It is apt to celebrate NZFSSRC's 10th birthday on World Food Safety Day with its key messages that "unsafe food makes people sick, harms livelihoods and weakens economies; no one should get sick from food, its preventable today and always" and "science drives bold decisions and builds unshakeable public trust."  

NZFSSRC's impactful science: We invite you to watch an extended video featuring perspectives from couple of our founding members, Fonterra, and Meat Industry Association along with Apples & Pears New Zealand, New Zealand King Salmon, Poultry Industry Association of New Zealand and two of our research partners, Cawthron Institute, and the Bioeconomy Science Institute. Together, they speak to the real-world impact that a decade of focused, collaborative science can deliver.
