The Centre’s Emerging Risk Identification System cited in FAO Report

ERIS

In a recently published FAO report on the use of foresight to identify emerging food safety issues, the Centre’s Emerging Risk Identification System (ERIS) is cited as an example.  The report collates what has been learnt from food safety foresight approaches in different countries. The ERIS service is managed on behalf of the Centre by Nicola King at PHF Science.  Nicola chaired the FAO’s expert meeting in Rome earlier this year.  The ERIS service comes with industry membership and is very much focussed on their needs.  The account of ERIS is on pg 37 of the report. https://openknowledge.fao.org/items/7961a82f-d66e-4e54-b97d-4d11e85a399e
