Preview of Centre sessions at the NZIFST conference June 24/5: what a line-up!

NZFSSRC Food Safety Sessions

Here’s a sneak peak at the NZFSSRC sessions, this year embedded in the NZIFST conference programme over two days – June 24 and 25.  If this doesn’t send you immediately to the AirNZ booking site, nothing will.

Women’s breakfast:  listen to the unprecedented experiences of Associate Professor Siouxsie Wiles, who stuck her neck out during the pandemic, and all but got it chopped off in social media, and ended up in court.

Glen Neal will do his stand-up routine as MC and make everything go with a smile.

His sparring partner, Kim Hill, will be back to chair a panel, trying to pin down who is actually responsible for food safety.

Roger Cook is not on the panel this year (give him a break!), but he will nevertheless treat us to the regulatory perspective.

And while most of you will not know Fiona Wiremu now, once you’ve heard her speak, you won’t forget the name. The Centre is lucky to have her on board.
