1 SEPT SYMPOSIUM POSTPONED – REGISTER FOR TWO-HOUR WEBINAR ON CHEMICAL CONTAMINANTS IN THE FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN

Sorry folks - you won’t be surprised by our decision to postpone our symposium by a few weeks, including the women’s breakfast and evening panel sessions, and the follow-on NZ-China Food Protection Network workshop.  If you cannot make the new symposium date (to be decided), we’ll refund your registration fee.

There is good news!  We have decided to make the most of our speakers-in-waiting, and the space we have in your diary on 1 September at 1:30 - 3:30pm by offering an important part of the programme via webinar:

Peter Cressey, ESR, Nitrates in food and water.  Peter will present the results of a new study into NZers’ intake of nitrate from both food and water, assessing the risk to human health.

Jeane Nicolas, MPI, Impact on human health of microplastics in the New Zealand diet

Professor Phil Bremer, UoO, Potential food safety risks from substances unintentionally added to recycled plastics

Dr Louis Tremblay, Cawthron, University of Auckland, MBIE reserach project on Emerging Contaminants - an update

Join us, and beat the lockdown blues.  Registration button below.

Best wishes from all of us at the NZ Food Safety Science & Research Centre.
