Centre Chief Scientist appointed to ICMSF

Centre Chief Scientist, Distinguished Professor Nigel French, has been appointed as a member of the International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (https://www.icmsf.org/). The Commission is a leading source of independent and impartial scientific information, concepts and advice for international standard setting bodies, governmental agencies and industry, aimed at reducing the global incidence of microbiological foodborne illness and food spoilage, and facilitating global trade. The ICMSF is linked to the International Union of Biological Societies (IUBS) and to the World Health Organization (WHO) of the United Nations and has published many books and papers, including the Microorganisms in Foods book series.
