Even if you happened to be there on the day (1 July), you’ll benefit from reviewing the information-rich presentations from the Centre's annual symposium. There was so much to take on board in one day, in sessions on food safety culture, packaging, climate change with reference to the 2023 extreme weather events, GenZ perspectives and, importantly, the future of NZFSSRC (spoiler alert: it’s good news!).
The Kim Hill panel is a treat, not to be missed. The topic: Is obesity a food safety issue? The panel truly was expert, comprising Dr Roger Cook (NZFS), Professors Rachael Taylor and Lisa Te Morenga, and Swiss-based consultant, Lone Jespersen.
