Listeria Workshop - don’t let your customers or reputation fall victim to this lethal microorganism

11 September 2025

21 October, Lincoln University

To meet the demand from industry, the Centre is running another practical one-day workshop on how to manage the risk of contamination by Listeria.  There are still consumer level recalls due to Listeria being detected on food, and though small in number, one is one too many. You can view the full programme for the workshop here

Says Centre Chief Scientist, Distinguished Professor Phil Bremer, “Imagine that just one incautious move – not washing hands or changing gloves, not checking the refrigeration temperature, keeping a prepared salad for one day too long – were to cause the death of someone’s parent or longed-for baby.” Professor Bremer will be conducting the seminar together with Centre Director, Dr Libby Harrison.
